"Terminator Genisys" - Sneak Peek

Yesterday, thanks to Show Film First, I had the chance to watch a never before seen 20 minutes footage of Terminator Genisys directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World, several episodes of GOT and many other tv-series as Nurse Jackie, Boardwalk Empire and Mad Man) and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, reprising his famous role as the Terminator, and Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor.

The event was held at the Vue cinema in Westfield and Schwarzenegger himself made an appearance for a Q&A session with the fans that won a contest to participate. I was one of the people that instead got the chance to watch the red carpet and take a couple of pictures of the Terminator himself and later watch the exclusive footage.

As a Terminator "virgin" (yes, go on and laugh) I can safely say that the sneak peek served its purpose. By the end of it, I was excited to see the whole movie, The story was intriguing and packed with the right amount of action and explosions. It doesn't give away the entire plot, but it gives you enough to be hooked and want to go to the cinema when the film will be released on the 2nd of July.

Emilia Clarke was the right choice for the role of Sarah Connor, she is convincing as a strong and independent woman fighting to save her own life. 

As Cameron, director of the first movie, said while introducing the clip to the audience, the story is a bit different and they added a twist to it, but it will not disappoint the hardcore fans of the Franchise.

As I already mentioned before, the movie will be out in the UK on the 2nd of July, while the USA will have the chance to see it on the 1st of the same month.
